Who we are
Diakon Media LLC ("Diakon Media," "we," "us") operates the website at diakonmedia.co. We provide web design and development, SEO, local SEO, Google Ads, Meta ads, social media management, and custom CRM builds to businesses across the United States.
This policy covers diakonmedia.co, the application and booking forms we run (including forms hosted on our CRM), and the emails and text messages we send. Questions can be sent to hello@diakonmedia.co.
What we collect
- What you give us. When you book a call, apply for the Website Grant or another promotion, fill out one of our forms, or email, call, text or message us (including on Facebook), we collect what you provide: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, details about your business, and your answers and notes.
- Text message consent records. When you opt in to texts, we record the phone number, the date and time, the form you used and the consent wording you agreed to, so we can show you asked for the messages.
- Business contact information from public sources. We collect business names, business email addresses, business phone numbers, websites and addresses from public listings such as Google Business Profiles, company websites and online directories, directly or through data providers that compile those listings.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects pages visited, time on site, device type and general location. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we do not use this data to identify you personally.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, hold the call you booked and follow up on services you asked about
- To review Website Grant and other promotion applications and tell applicants where they stand
- To send you email and, if you opted in, the text messages described below
- To contact businesses we find in public listings, by email or phone, about services that may help them
- To understand site usage and improve our content
- To keep records and meet our legal obligations
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages from Diakon Media LLC, we text your mobile number only with the kinds of messages you agreed to receive. You opt in by ticking an unchecked box on one of our forms, such as the Website Grant application. The boxes are optional. You never have to agree to texts to apply, book a call or buy from us.
- Application and service messages (one checkbox, up to 6 a month): your application status, including finalist and selection notices; call scheduling, confirmations and reminders; and replies and follow-ups about services you asked about.
- Marketing messages (a separate checkbox, up to 4 a month): offers, discounts, promotion deadlines and announcements of future Website Grant rounds.
Message frequency varies, within the monthly limits above. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP for help. You can also reach us at hello@diakonmedia.co or (760) 613-8218. The full program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
If you give us your email address, we use it to respond to you and, for applicants, to send messages about your Website Grant application, including the result and any offer that comes with it. We send other marketing emails only to people who opted in, with one exception: if we found your business in a public listing, we may email you a few times about services that could help it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. To stop all email from us, reply to any message or write to hello@diakonmedia.co.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Third-party services
- GoHighLevel: Our CRM. It hosts our application and booking forms and calendars, stores contact records, and sends our emails and text messages. Subject to HighLevel's Privacy Policy.
- Calendly: Handles scheduling and confirmation emails for some calls. Subject to Calendly's Privacy Notice.
- Email delivery and business data providers: Send our outreach emails and supply business contact information from public listings, under their own privacy terms.
- Meta: If you message us on Facebook or Instagram, Meta processes those messages. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4: Site analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: Hosting provider. Processes server logs, including IP addresses, for security and performance. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Notice.
Your choices and rights
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link, reply to the email, or write to us.
- Your records: ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@diakonmedia.co.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). Email hello@diakonmedia.co to use these rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Changes to this policy
If we activate retargeting pixels, add new data collection tools, or materially change how we use your data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
